Route: Starting from Tirol we took the cable car to the Hochmut, and walked to the Oberkaser using the Jägersteig
. We passed the Langsee
and climbed the Große Rötelspitze
, at 2295m. After a long and deserved rest we returned to the Langsee and walked up to the Milchseen
(milk lakes) and then walked up to the Milchseescharte
(2688m). Here we bivouacked in a place resembling more a box of cookies rather than a refuge.
